Amigos de Santurce is a non-profit organization, created by a group of people that believe that transformation and improvement are possible and want to be a part of it. We aim to rebuild, revitalize and improve living, working and visiting experiences.
Amigos de Santurce is governed by an 8-member board of Directors compromised of local stakeholders, business leaders, and Santurce friends.

Actions
We are a hands-on organization that aims to improve quality of life for everyone in the area, while being respectful and collaborative with government agencies. In this first phase, we will work to make the area safer, and cleaner. We will have unarmed security guards patrolling the streets and cleaning crews.

Santurce is a great destination. This historical district in the core of San Juan is home to art galleries, retail stores, bars and restaurants, theaters, open-air street art and Puerto Rico’s most important cultural landmarks, including the Puerto Rico Museum of Art, The Contemporary Art Museum, the Performing Arts Center and the Music Conservatory. Today, art lovers, restaurants, businesses and the hundreds of new residents calling it home, largely drive Santurce’s renaissance.
